Ah, I do love that last one...so very true! A mother is never done loving her children. They are always her 'babies'.(smile) I've raised three, then raised three of my grandchildren. A mother's work is never 'done'...
These were great, my friend! As always, I enjoyed my visit. I think I speak for all mothers when I say 'thank you'.(smile)
'Til next time,

Mattie,
You have a great way of picking out the ones I like best myself -- and you show a much-appreciated quiet tolerance of some of the less inspired stuff I post here. Have a wonderful M-Day weekend!

This one was my favorite: "A mom forgives us all our faults, not to mention one or two we don't even have." I could see it from two viewpoints, as a daughter and a mother.
As a daughter I would get frustrated with my mother when she would try to help me correct faults I didn't even have! *cough, cough*
As a mother, I now find myself in a position to try to help my children correct the faults that they cannot yet see in themselves.
Randi,
Thanks to you, I learn 50 years later that the faults Mom forgave that I thought I didn't have I actually really did have but didn't know it and never did know it because she helped me correct them without my actually knowing I was correcting them. I like that idea. Mom would've liked it, too.
Have a great Mother's Day. I hope your kids realize how lucky they are.

Thanks, Robert. I did have a great Mother's Day.
I'm really annoyed that when the "Follow" feature in Blogger switched over "Google Friend Connect" there was a glitch that deleted me from being a follower and still blocks me when I try to sign back up. So please know that I am a devoted follower even though I no longer show up!
