I like the third one, though I always suspect that those who admire me simply don't know me well enough!
The fifth one shot me like an arrow between the eyes. How true! So many times I think that I will call someone to tell her thank you for helping my son, or that I will write a comment on someone's blog telling him how much I appreciated what he said. And then...later never comes. I think I will hang that quote on my monitor. I needed to be reminded.
Liz, I like your version better -- and watch out, I'm getting to know you.
Randi, if you're going to include blog comments, then we're all a bunch of ingrates.

Thanks again for an inspiring blog, heaven knows I don't want to be caught by #5.
Marlene,
Welcome back. "Moon, Weeping" arrived safely and promptly, and I love it. Thanks!

You are most welcome, thank you.
I like the last one, it is such a true statement.
It's amazing how many self-awareness posts I have found lately after reading a book on self awareness. It is titled "Take the E Out of EGO & GO!," and sinse reading it, I have found myself noticing this topic all over the place.
Nice quotations... very motivational and thought inspiring. The words are like fire and compel to think. Well done.
Melissa,
There is simply no more important subject than self-awareness. To my mind, it defines human intelligence. It is what distinguishes us from other animals and what constitutes "growing up" in a human being If every individual were truly self-aware, there would be no immorality, not to mention no wars.
garyryanblair,
Thanks. If I have compelled anyone to think, I have exceeded my mission. A respectful invitation to think is what I aspire to.
