So many great ones, as always, Robert! But the one you chose to be last really packs a punch. I loved it! :)

My husband will enjoy that one as much as I am.
There is so much wisdom in the ignoring criticism one!

I like all of these, but this is my favorite because I believe it wholeheartedly:

"One learns to ignore criticism by first learning to ignore applause."

Love the thought about the two kids sitting under the full moon, pledging to be true to each other. I guess it's on my mind because we are ready (on the 21st of Dec) to celebrate our (gulp!) 37th anniversary. I was just telling our daughter today that back when it was all happening, I wasn't particularly careful or cautious about who I chose - I just got lucky and fell in love with the right man. What a gift!!

As always, thanks for your words. Love them!

Hmmm... yes... and patience IS a virtue, right? So my husband must be getting very virtuous. I am more laid back and harder to upset. It's a nice way of saying I'm probably a slob.

Becky,
Never really thought about it before, but I don't actually choose the order -- no consciously selected first and last. I just post them as I wrote them in my notepad work file.

Patti,
I hope you lost it on an in-law, at least.

nacherluver,
Oh, didn't I tell you, these are all dead serious.

Sue, The Prude,
I'm glad you like that one. If someone else had said it, I might think it's wise, too.

Jan,
Cheers from everyone here on your 37th. You picked my favorite of the bunch, brought a tear to my eye when I thought of it.

karen,
Congrats on your patience. Usually the thing "you always do" that grates on your spouse's nerves is some idiosyncrasy that used to be "the cutest thing."

smiles,

Bravo and Encore! Among other things, I'm currently at work on a little HOW TO BE A BEACH BRIDE. I'll definitely include some Braultisms, but will not do so without proper attribution and some kind of compensation. It's in the editng stage right now, and I'll get your permission before using any of your stuff as quotes. Keep up your good work. don

It's a catchy title, Don. This could be a winner. Impressed at how you've disciplined yourself to turn out actual books!
