My goodness! These are good!! Thank you.
Thanks, Robert, for providing an uplifting perspective to what was almost a real “downer” of a weekend. I always find your insight, humor and wit most enjoyable and meaningful; and your talent with words an inspiration for my own writing projects. You are definitely my “go-to guy” for the perfect quote to illustrate a point!
Hello friends/followers of Robert. If you stop by my blog, you can enter to win one of Robert's calendars or note card set.

One of your best ever, I think!
=)
Love the thought about listening - -so so true!!
Happy weekend - and thank you!
Bob: I've noticed there are some very, very sharp people who read your "stuff." My guess is that at least one of them knows an editor/publisher /agent type who could cause this creative mind to be shared much more broadly. You (the 'friends' know as well as I that Bob Brault's not gotten nearly the attention his work deserves. He may be reluctant to ask you, but I'm not. And he didn't even know I've been feeling like we (you and I) should take a more active role in his promotion. I've mentioned him on my blog, in my emails, etc. and wish I could do more. donkimrey
I agree with Sue!
Simply Beautiful ... thank you..
Kathi, Jan, Anon,
Thanks so much. A fine weekend in New England, made a little finer by your kind comments.
Sue, Vrinda,
Glad you like the DC items. I sometimes come at politicians with a blunt instrument, but it's best to be a little sly, I guess.
JUNE IN D.C.,
Thanks -- and welcome. Hope you're weekend has picked up. To be appreciated by another writer is as much as I can ask for.
BECKY,
I can't thank you enough for your efforts on my behalf. Your generosity seems to be bottomless.
Don/Anon,
Thanks, as always. I am not undiscovered by editors and publishers. Both Thomas Nelson and Blue Mountain Arts have contacted me for permissions in the past month. It even occurred to BMA to pay me for it. But it occurred to neither, or to anyone else, that a book containing more than one Robert Brault item might sell.
smiles all,

Grateful for continued insights Robert for ...self-improvement to get your friends to like you for who you were... when you seek the company of your solitude ...only starting to undevelop!
Raj, thanks as always.
I love these quotes! Especially the one about meeting new people only when you drive into their living room! I laughed out loud at that one!
Very awesome! Love ~On the Sixth Day, God saw everything that He had made, and He saw that it was good, and He said, "Let there be Murphy."
That part is not brought up anywhere, which is quite odd.
Thank you once again ;)
Eva,
Welcome. You sound like an oldie but goodie. Let's see, you've left two lovely comments; you've joined as a follower; that leaves only buying a calendar (smile). Thanks so much for showing such a friendly interest.
Biddy,
I beginning to think that our taste for the tongue-in-cheek is the same. Delighted to find another cybermate.
smiles both,

My friend, Sue sent me. Glad I took her up on her suggestion. These are great!! I'll be back. Thanks.
anitamombanita,
Thanks -- and welcome. Sue's a great friend. Took a peek at your blog and was so taken by the blend of striking photography and poetic prose. You more than create a scene; you create a mood, as much with the spare simplicity of your writing as with the composition of your lens. You should be the one doing calendars.

I hopped over here from Becky's. So glad to know about your site, Robert! Lots and lots to read.
Katie,
I was about to say, "Welcome. Please buy my calendar", but then I clicked on your name and went over to your blog. What a discovery! You are as thoughtful a commentator on the modern scene as I have found. Your latest post (repost) is a gem that I urge all to read.

And on the eighth day God said, "Okay, Murphy, you're in charge!"
Anonymous,
I like your version better. Guess I'll stick my name after it."

Long time no time... but I am glad I re-entered your magic world.
My favourite in this series are the two confession-related ones, which I would like to mix (as usual) and link to our current crisis roots: sins have been committed, publicly confessed and nobody seems to care.
Take care and read you again soon!
Georgina, good to hear from you again. My fault that our correspondence flagged. I get lots of letters, and I just haven't the time to make more than casual responses. Your essays demanded so much more.
smiles,
rb
