Sunday Thoughts: Collection #2
"For every person who feels the need for atonement, a hundred others find regret sufficient."
"There is nothing more essential to getting a project off the ground than the underestimate."
"There is no actual law that says that when things go wrong, you can't pick up your own pieces."
"Some forgive and forget, more forgive and remember, most forgive and remind."
The trouble with reading "The Lives of the Saints" is that just when the story gets interesting, they change their ways. (smile)
"The notion that our moral actions are meaningless, salvation possible only through the grace of God, is certainly the most labor-saving idea ever thought up by man."
"I have never believed that the Son of God dying for one's sins is a license to commit them in His name."
If there is justice, then accepting Christ as one's Savior and ignoring His gospel is as likely to win salvation as accepting the Ten Commandments and ignoring the "Shalt Nots."
"The difference between right and wrong? Don't tell me. It has something to do with property values."
