Your comments express the heartfelt sentiment that my words only suggest. I'm pretty overwhelmed to have fashioned a few sentences that elicit such genuine eloquence.

Some time back, I wrote, "A parent's love is whole no matter how many times divided." But you have hit upon the real truth -- that with each new child in our lives, our capacity to love multiplies and is offered in new abundance to each and every one of our children. It's rather a breathtaking insight.

I just had to comment on a couple of your other quotes, too...

#1- "The world is as many times new as there are children in our lives."
I have six children and two grandchildren. I loved the way I could feel my heart expand as each new little one entered my life. It would seem that our capacity to love increases as the opportunity to love presents itself.

#3- "It is a requirement of happiness that it have no foreseeable end. It comes upon us in a moment so perfect in the present that it overwhelms our sense of the future and suspends us in time."
I have experienced in my life moments of happiness so profound and perfect that they caused me to hold my breath and will time to stand still. Such happiness is fleeting, but leaves behind a memory so deep and lasting that in quiet moments I can feel it still.

You folks are making me giddy! These are wonderful. And I think that the blog post one is entirely and uniquely yours. I beginning to think that perhaps I should just post templates and let you guys come up with the inspiration. Your stuff (yours and Marlenes) is so much more related to life on this planet than my other-wordly notions.

This is excellent!! And better than either of mine because capturing in our lives "moments filled with wonder" has real-life application, not just some ethereal notion of a "light forever shining" after we pass on. Why don't you submit this to Terri at The Quote Garden. I think she'll love it.
